Lost stars Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly are renegotiating their contracts, spurring some of their castmates to ask for big raises as well.

Um, yeah, they're renegotiating because they are the TWO MAIN LEADS. Lost would cease to exist if either left which I don't think holds true for their "castmates." ALSO, I find this interesting because it has always seemed to me that Evi could really care less about how much money she makes...

I don't know if I have any fans of Everwood on my flist but I just got this update from tvshowsondvd.com that WB is working on putting season 2 on DVD... TO BUY!! I can't believe it - YAY! For those that have never watched the show, you really do need to go buy season 1 on DVD - it's one of the best shows to air. EVER. It's for sale on Amazon for $21.99.

I haven't recommended a fic in like, forever. So, for all the Bones/BB fans on my flist, here is probably the best Bones Fic I've ever read. It's exactly how I want the show to handle B/B... you know, if Fox had an NC-17 rating. ;) So enjoy! And let me know what you think.

Yeah, it's been like a month since I last posted... and while I doubt anyone really cares, feel free to chat with me about any of the follow random thoughts:

1. So, I hear the Skaters are loose again and spreading their craziness. It's all so ridiculous to me because I truly don't see how Kate can EVER go back to Sawyer. I mean, I know TPTB can do whatever they want but really it would make no sense. And frankly, if she does, Jack needs to stay far, far away from her. I know that a lot of Jaters also think Kate is going to go back to Sawyer so I'd love to hear how this could go down realistically. Oh, and I STILL think that Kate is going to return to the island pregnant. Which would make the Skate reunion even more stupid.

2. Anyone on my flist watch SYTYCD? Tell me your favorite dancers! And how great was Jessica and Will's contemporary piece this week? I'm sorry but they are way too hard to Jessica. WAY. TOO. HARD.

3. So, I'm planning on getting a tattoo on my shoulder sometime within the next couple of weeks. I'd love to hear advice, thoughts, pointers, etc.

4. I got to go see a private taping by Vanessa Carlton this week. It was very last minute and I had to drive 2 hours each way but WOW! It was so worth it! She's going to have a special on Ovation TV in case any of you get that channel - I don't. She is just... brillant.

5. So, being the big geek that I am... I am going to two (yes TWO) American Idol concerts in August. I don't think there is any AI watchers on my flist so I'll stop here. But please let me know if I'm wrong.

6. Is it as hot where you are as it is HERE? I mean, seriously, summer in the Midwest is just awful. Humid, sticky, hot... AWFUL.

Oh, yeah... consider adoption. It's wonderful and will change your life in so many beautiful ways. My soon-to-be adopted little brother is just amazing and he's the second one my parents have adopted. Yeah, try having 25-ish years between siblings.... :D Not only is it in my personal life but it's my job too. So, please consider adoption! [/end of my PSA] Have a great weekend!

So, last weekend, my good friend asked me to go see The Happening this weekend because she's a huge M. Night Shyamalan fan. I wasn't really excited about it until I actually paid attention during one of its previews and realized that Zooey Deschanel is in it... and now I'm so very excited. :)

Is there anyone on my flist that makes Lost videos? Or more importantly, JATE videos? I've found a couple of non-album Evanescence songs that I think scream Jate and I'd love to see them in a Jate video. I mean, there's only so many videos one can watch with "Collide" and "Everything." (Hey, I love these two songs... I'm just saying.) If no one wants to make a Jate video, then at least I got to pimp Evanescence... :)

Why is it that they always show "big" Skate moments in the promos but never Jate? Does this mean something? Okay, now I want to talk about the BIG spoiler that I'm sure everyone knows about... but I won't. Why am I so worried about it, though? Stupid promo. *sigh*

I knew TPTB would find a way to bring me down from my Jate high after "Something Nice Back Home." I hate the triangle.

Since I doubt anyone really cares what I think about Lost, I decided to post some questions/thoughts that have come to me the past two weeks...

Bones = LOVE. If a show ever wants to know how to write a couple, they need to watch this show. Booth/Brennan are perfection. I think it's safe to say that I will be getting another one of my couples together soon. Okay, probably more like next season but hey, I'll take it.

Oh, and The Office ROCKS.

Between my two jobs (a full time job and a part-time job) and my American Idol obsession, I've been pretty busy. But AI will be over in about a month (or sooner if god forbid my contestant gets kicked off) so I'm sure I'll return to normal then. I do DVR everything and try to keep up, I swear!

Lost - Okay, seriously, I haven't read any spoilers and I don't care to. I have heard one thing about Jack but then Juliet was somewhere in the same sentence and I quickly lost interest. Oh, and that one other spoiler that Darlton is dangling over our heads but since they love to exaggerate everything, I'm not that excited... even if it would be good for my couple. That and, that spoiler may be about Jate but I can bet (this is not at spoiler, really) there is going to be some major Skate stuff prior to it. Because frankly, I heard Darlton use "romantic" and "Skate" in the same sentence and I just about came unglued... hence, my slight sabbatical from Lost. I usually work at my second job on Thursday nights so I'll record Lost and FF through the Skate crap that's bound to pop up and piss me off. Really, I just don't get what TPTB are doing with this triangle and I often wonder if they sit in their little offices (okay, probably BIG offices) and laugh their asses off at our pain and suffering? Probably.

My two new favorite shows: New Amsterdam and Eli Stone. But one at a time...

New Amsterdam - LOVE this show but the season finale really, really pissed me off. Do I have anyone on my flist that watches?

Eli Stone - God, I love Greg Berlanti. He was the genius behind Everwood and now, he's done it again. I love Jonny Lee Miller but has anyone else seen "Hackers" and find themselves strangely weirded out when watching this show? LOL!

My favorite current shows (other than American Idol): The Office and Bones. Again, one at a time...

The Office - So glad it's back - as Steve Carell said, these new episodes really are for the fans - Jim's looks into the camera have never been better! And the whole engagement topic = LOVE.

Bones - I haven't really liked the past two episodes all that much. I know this week's was the pulled one from last year but still... I don't know, it just feels like they are trying too hard to drag out the Bones/Booth romantic storyline. Or is it just me? And as much as I love this show, how many times must we watch Bones and Booth be hit over the head with comments from other people about how they should be dating, are perfect for each other, etc. I know Bones is usually pretty clueless but COME ON. But I must admit, I loved the double date - too, too cute! And next week's episode will probably go down as one of my favorites... :D

Since no one on my flist watches American Idol, apparently, I won't bore the stray person that wanders into this little rambling... but GO CARLY!!

And it looks like they're doing the ONE thing that might bring me back. I really hope this is for real...

SWC coming back?

I just love how they are now saying it was a "contract disput." Really? Not what they were saying earlier this year. They said that she didn't fit into the storyline, that it was time for her to go, blah, blah, blah. Man, they must be taking notes from Darlton's book of fix-things-by-blantantly-lying-about-what-you-said-in-documented-interviews. Ah, well, as long as I get my SWC back...

I decided not to review last week's Lost because... well, mainly because I've found my interest in the show waning. Of course, a Jack-less episode didn't help but... it's really more about the fact that TPTB refuse to stop shoving Kate/Sawyer in our faces and will continue to give Jaters NOTHING. I just don't have the energy for this crap anymore. So, I'm obsessive over American Idol and New Amsterdam right now. And The Office and Bones come back soon so... YAY! I will always love and long for Jate but TPTB seem hell-bent on destroying these characters just to keep Jate apart.

Okay, so apparently the Lost video game is now available... I was at Target last night, saw it and just about passed out. Why didn't I know about this?? Isn't there anyone else on my flist that wants to try and make Jack and Kate go off into the jungle together? ;)

Has anyone bought it yet? Is it cool? Is it worth the money?

Yes, this is a little late but since I now have both a full-time job and a part-time job, it really couldn't be helped. *sigh*

BTW, a random thought on Eggtown: I've been wondering why Jack was asked on the stand if he loves Kate. Yes, the attorney might be part of the whole Oceanic conspiracy but eveyone in the court room, judge included, seemed to find it pretty non-shocking and not out-of-the-blue. I mean, Kate was never put on the stand so there has never been an other testimony for what Jack and Kate were other than fellow plane crash survivors. My point is that I wonder if Kate didn't say to the media or whomever that Jack is Aaron's father? Of course, this would depend on how long they were on the island, in actual time. If it was actually 3 months, then this doesn't make sense. But if they were gone for 18 months or so, this makes TOTAL sense. It would explain asking if Jack loves Kate... if he fathered her child, wouldn't it be an understandable question?

On Thursday, I start my new job. And I am super excited! As in, this is the job I've been trying to get for the past 3-4 MONTHS. That I went through two interviews for. AND my (new) supervisor got me more money than they typically pay people with Master's degrees. Now, granted, the agency I'll be working for is a non-profit human services agency so we're not talking big bucks or anything but STILL. Woo-hoo!

So, a couple of week ago, I posted that I saw this woman at Target with two little kids named Jack and Claire. Seriously. Then today, a woman came through with a baby named J.J. So, I'm starting to wonder if the universe is trying to tell me something?? Or maybe I'm just obsessive with Lost... ;)

And for anyone wondering about season 6 of Lost, I guess Damon and Carlton have said what it's going to be about. And I'll just say that I was right. YES!
